Salalah Mills… A Journey of Leadership in Omani Food Industry
Since its establishment in Dhofar Governorate, Salalah Mills has proven to be more than just a flour production facility — it is a national success story blending quality, innovation, and sustainability. The company began its journey with the aim of supporting food security in the Sultanate of Oman by producing high-quality flour that meets the needs of both the local and regional markets.
Thanks to the vision of its leadership and the adoption of the latest European milling and packaging technologies, the factory’s production capacity has risen to over 1,500 tons per day, making it the largest flour mill in the Sultanate. This growth has not only been an expansion in size but also in impact; Salalah Mills’ products, such as Arabic bread flour, household flour, semolina, and animal feed, have become synonymous with quality and trust.
Today, the company operates under strict ISO and HACCP standards and is committed to supporting local supply chains and farmers by providing by-products such as bran, barley, and feed. It has also expanded its activities by launching new products like barley flour and “Harees” to meet the growing consumer demand for healthy and natural foods.
Behind this success is a qualified Omani team, led entirely by Omani hands — from the CEO to all employees within the group — affirming that the company’s mission goes beyond production to encompass social responsibility and support Oman Vision 2040 in achieving national food self-sufficiency.
Today, Salalah Mills continues its journey with steadfast dedication, maintaining its leading position as a symbol of national industry and a source of pride for every Omani who sees in its products the authentic taste of Omani quality.
